Here’s your answer!
All the .gel files are always first written with a _TMP extension added. Once the file is completely written, Anatella finally renames the file (to removes the _TMP). This allows another process to check if the file is present: i.e. as soon as the file appears (with the correct name without the _TMP at the end), it means that the file is already "complete" and "ready to be read".
